The First International Logistics Summit and Expo in Jakarta - JILSE & ITSCL Logistics Summit 2016, Making Indonesia as The Logistics Hub In Asia-Pacific

ITSCL, September 2016 - Directorate General of Customs and Excise with the Association of Indonesian Bonded Logistics Center (PPLBI) and other Association Partners in the field of transportation, supply chain and logistics industry will held an exhibition and conference forum which located in JIExpo, Kemayoran, Jakarta on 19-21 October 2016. The exhibition is organized as a forum to unite the service providers and users of logistics services to meet and expand their business opportunities regionally, with Indonesia as a hub in the Asia-Pacific region. Furthermore, there will be also a forum for discussion and sharing about an issue that happen on the world of logistics and national industry.

Jakarta International Logistics Summit and Expo (JILSE) 2016 is the only one logistics exhibition and conference which are supported by the Ministry of Finance, Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry, BKPM, Indonesia Chamber of Commerce (KADIN), ALI, ALFI, PPLBI and other Associations as supporting partners. JILSE 2016 will be held in conjunction with the Indonesian Transport, Supply Chain and Logistics (ITSCL) 2016 at Hall A- JIExpo, Kemayoran. Through the good cooperation between the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, PPLBI and Panorama Reed Exhibition (as an organizer), a series of activities in JILSE and ITSCL 2016 will consist of 3 (three) days of the International scale exhibition; 3 (three) days of conferences and networking; and also the inauguration of Bonded Logistics Center phase 2 that scheduled to be inaugurated by the President of the Indonesia Republic, Mr. Joko Widodo.

Continuing 11 Bonded Logistics Center which was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo, as a part of the Economic Policy Package, Volume II. Many hopes are addressed to PLB in order to lower the Dwelling Time, lower the logistics costs and create efficiency, create investment opportunities, as well as making Indonesia the hub logistics in Asia-Pacific. According to the Director General of Customs and Excise, Heru Pambudi, 14 PLB that will be inaugurated soon are comes from many sectors such as oil and gas, mining, MRO (Maintenance, Repair And Overhaul), automotive, cotton, pharmaceuticals, aluminum, support and export. The development will cooperate with a number of industry players. With this establishment, in the future, Indonesia will have 25 PLB scattered around region. And for the inauguration of Bonded Logistics Center phase 2 is planned to be done in JILSE & ITSCL 2016, which is the exhibition and conference that support the growth of the domestic industry, particularly in the areas of transport, supply chain and logistics.
