The Exhibition That Supported By The Coordinating Ministry For Economic Affair For The Logistics And Supply Chain In Indonesia

The Government launched the 15th Economic Policy Package for the business development and competitiveness on National Logistics Providers at Istana Negara, Jakarta. This Economic Policy Package focuses on improving the national logistics system. It is said by Darmin Nasution (Minister Coordinating Economic Affairs), Indonesia is an archipelago country which often leads to price disparity, fluctuations, and scarcity of goods stocks between regions and inter-island. Therefore, the government wants to strengthen the logistics system and improve the competitiveness of logistics service providers. In addition, this policy also provides opportunities for national shipbuilding companies, ocean insurance and shipping companies to grow. Thus, it is expected that logistics costs become cheaper.

This Economic Policy Package is elaborated through a role-enhancing and business-scale policy that provides business opportunities for national transport and insurance, in transporting imported export goods, and shipbuilding / shipbuilding operations within the country. This policy will also increase the ease of effort and cost reduction for national logistics services provider business.

Thus, in this national agenda "Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017" that will be held on 10-12 October 2017 at the Jakarta International Expo-Kemayoran, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs fully supports and participates in this activity to socialize the package that recently released, 15th economic policy package. Indonesia Logistics Solution Day is an exhibition, conference and business matching which is pioneered by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs as host and Reed Panorama Exhibitions as the event organizer.

From the official letter from Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs number S-30 / DVMEKON / 04/ 2017 that issued on 13 April 2017 states that full support for the implementation of Indonesia Logistics Solution Day (ILSD) 2017 at Jakarta International Expo - Kemayoran, 10-12 October 2017 and became part of Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017. ILSD activities aimed at presenting and campaigning various policies that have been issued by the Government in the logistics sector.

The official letter, signed by Deputy Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs on Trade and Industry Coordination, Edy Putra Irawady, stated that this year in collaboration with Reed Panorama Exhibitions, is pleased to announce that Indonesia Logistics Solution Day (ILSD) is part of Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017 in which there are also various exhibitions specifically for the maritime, transportation and logistics industry, including: Indonesia Maritime Expo (IME) 2017, Indonesia Trucks & Commercial Vehicles (ITCV), Indonesia Airport Expo (IAE), Indonesia Transport, Supply Chain & Logistics (ITSCL) 2017, Intra-Logistics Indonesia (ILI), Warehousing Indonesia (WHI) and Jakarta International Logistics Summit & Expo (JILSE) pioneered by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise Indonesia.
