Indonesia Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) Officially Hosted Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017

The 2016 edition of ITSCL & ILI, Indonesia’s only dedicated logistics exhibition and conference for the supply chain, logistics and material handling industry, concluded with a resounding success. Inaugurated by Darmin Nasution (Minister of Economy), Sri Mulyani (Minister of Finance), Enggartiasto Lukita (Minister of Trade), Heru Pambudi (Director General of Customs and Excise) and Carmelita Hartoto (Vice Chairman of KADIN Indonesia for Transportation Sector) for its opening, the inaugural event garnered participation of 200 companies from 10 countries and welcomed more than 12.528 buyers from 18 countries. The participants came from International business leaders of the global transport and logistics firms, and there were more senior executives from the world’s leading manufacturer, retailers, distributors, ports, shippers, cargo owners, shipping lines, freight forwarders, terminal operators, railway operator and many international bodies. Following the success in 2014 (first edition), 2015 (2nd edition), and 2016 (3rd edition), Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) as host of Indonesia Transport, Supply Chain & Logsitics will held an exhibition for transportation & logistics industry again for this year with bigger concept and more interesting theme.

Different from previous edition, KADIN Indonesia together with Reed Panorama Exhibitions as organizer took the vision and mission of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in transforming Indonesia from consumptive country to productive (manufacture). In addition, the strengthening of several industrial sectors in Indonesia such as increasing the national maritime and logistics industry is also become the main interest, by KADIN Indonesia and Reed Panorama Exhibitions. Thus, this year, KADIN Indonesia is proud to announce that Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017 is a national agenda in the form of special exhibitions for maritime, transportation and logistics industries for both Indonesia and neighboring countries (Asia Pacific).

Through an official letter signed by the Chairman of KADIN Indonesia, Rosan P. Roeslani, KADIN Indonesia stated that this year in partnership with Reed Panorama Exhibitions, We are pleased to announce that Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017 will be the continuation of the Indonesia Transport Supply Chain and Logistics & Intralogistics (ITSCL & ILI) Series. That will take place from 10th – 12th October 2017 at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran.

Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017 organized by the leading organizer, Reed Panorama Exhibition (RPE), a joint venture with Reed Exhibitions, who is also the organizer of SITL and over 17 international events for the transportation and logistics industry around the world. KADIN Indonesia is confident the Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017 will be a prestigious platform with a strong promotion program, geared to attract more participants locally, and internationally. This event is poised to be the singular place where Indonesian and international transportation, logistic, supply chain and material handling companies will congregate to discuss, network, strategize as well as create new business opportunities.
