JILSE 2017 BACK IN ACTION AS A PART OF INDONESIA MARITIME, TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS WEEK 2017

Referring to supporting letter No. S-1097 / BC / 2017 where the Indonesian Directorate of Customs and Excise states that it is an honour for Heru Pambudi, the Director General of Customs and Excise Indonesia to support and actively participate in Jakarta International Logistics Summit & Expo 2016, 19-21 October 2016. JILSE is an international forum where all parties in the global supply chain gathered and explore innovation, seek solutions, share views, expand networks and tools to expand Indonesian government policy information and regional policy innovations aimed at streamlining national and regional logistics costs.

The success of JILSE 2016, the high enthusiasm of the logistics community, the importance of the JILSE implementation, and the development of each region against the need for efficient logistics, thus the Director General of Customs and Excise supports the continuation of JILSE to be annual agenda and to take part in Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017 for the national and international logistics annual event that organized by the Association of Indonesia Bonded Logistics Centre (PPLBI), Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN), Reed Panorama Exhibitions and other supporting institutions.

JILSE 2017 will take place on 10-12 October 2017 with the theme "Seamless Logistics Towards Asean Connectivity" which is the continuity of the JILSE 2016 theme ("Forward Looking - Outcome Driven: Driving Continuous Improvement to Making Indonesia a Logistics Hub in Asia Pacific").

Considering the importance of JILSE event for the progress of national and regional logistics, the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of Indonesia invites business actors who have relationship with maritime, transportation and logistic to participate in supporting and succeed JILSE 2017 in Indonesia Maritime, Transport & Logistics Week 2017, Together can realize the ideals to reduce logistics costs in order to increase the competitiveness of national industries and the nation's economy which ultimately increase economic growth for the welfare of the people.
